Did you ever wonder what would happen if the newest and final Harry Potter book came out while you were at a Wood conference in Las Vegas? Well now we know.
You bring it with you and read it when your feet hurt and you need to sit down.Unless you are Chris, then you stay up all night reading it and then go on to the conference. We left Las Vegas at 1:00 p.m. and the drive home was very quiet as everyone except the driver was reading a Harry Potter book. I know it is hard to believe, but even I was not talking....I was catching up by reading Harry Potter #6. Imagine how frustrating to get to Mt. Pleasant and find the power out! We couldn't read! Horror!
By the way, Rene, Becky and I didn't spend all our time at the conference, we went to an outlet mall there in Las Vegas and spent 5 hours shopping! We discovered we either should never go shopping together again or have a lot of money to spend. I think you can guess which one we decided to aim for.

This is what I love to see the whole family getting in on the Potter action. I am so glad that you read #6 and #7 Syl. As for the hours and hours of shopping I am jealous! There is no way that I could pull that off with Gwen around. I sure hope that you found lots of fun treasures though. And I am glad that you are home same and sound...even if that means a little injured.
