Becky and Ryan Allen are engaged to be married.....that was the first shock, the second shock was that they wanted to get married before school started for Ryan so how about three weeks time??? panic!!! then they had to postpone it for another week so now their wedding is scheduled for Aug 24, Friday, which also happens to be Becky's 24th birthday. If Ryan forgets why the 24th is important, he will get a double whammy! I have already warned Ryan so now there is no excuse! The ceremony is at 9:00am in the Manti Temple. There is a wedding luncheon/reception from noon until 2:00 pm at our church. Noon until 2:00pm is way to hot out in our backyard. Brent took engagement photos up in Logan today and here is a little sample.

Well I must say that you have taken the news quite well. You already seem much more on top of things than most people would be, you must have had some practice. I really like the sample pictures I find it funny to look back at our own...only because neither of us look at all like we did then. Oh how time does fly. I am very proud of all that you have accomplished already, in a few weeks time you will have thought of everything...Oh wait the wedding is in a few weeks time. I hope that everything will be covered. Good Luck and keep us posted.

---by the way, let the record state that three posts ago, Leslie Barlow did not post 3 comments. I Ryan Barlow falsely used her name in the last of the three. She only left two...now I don't have to sleep on the couch anymore.

Look at the bright side--all your kids are dropping everything to come out and see you and your newly finished basement! The excuse you have been waiting for is here. Actually the bright side is that Becky has found her perfect match and love of her life, and he has asked her to marry her in four weeks...but the basement is a nice little perk. Good news all around.
