Here is London modeling the flower girl dresses for Becky and Ryan's wedding in Aug. (see previous blog) The part that looks white, the background, is more of a pinky/cream/ivory. The first thing I did, (right after I made a master list of course) was drag Becky out to JoLene's and she choose these dresses. The colors in the dress are Becky's colors for the wedding, very light pink, plum, black, dark olive green, pinky/ivory. I have had a vision in my mind of 9 little girls running around in matching dresses and now with Ryan's niece, we get 10. (Nancy's Madison is #9) . 6 of these little girls are in the 18 months to 2 year range. What a lot of excitment we will have if all of them happen to have a 2 year old temper tantrum at the same time, but with so many, nobody will know whose 2 year old that is screaming, unless the parent gives it away by carrying them off the battle field. The 10 flower girls are the main decorations for the luncheon/reception.

They are o.k. I was expecting something a little more fluffy? But hey we will actually be able to use them later.

That is really funny Jen, I too was thinking more poof in the skirt as well. I am excited to see all the girls in them together. How lovely of the twins to cooperate for you.
Maybe the two of you just need to see the dresses in person because I think they are the perfect amount of poof! The embroidery is simple, but elegant and beautiful. The colors work well together-especially for an event just going into the fall. I love the high waist and puffy sleeves. I love that we will wear them all winter! I think you won't be disappointed, 10 flower girls. I can't wait!
