I love Huntington Beach! We used to go here for Family Home evenings and often in the summer. It was free to just park and then walk on in.
Brent says he rode his bike down Beach blvd to the beach from his house and it was 10 miles one direction. He and his friend Eddie Heagle actually only rode their bikes there once, but my oh my that is a long trek for anybody on a bike. The intersection in back of Brent is Beach Blvd and Pacific Coast Highway.

I too love that beach. When I lived there I would pick up the bus just around the corner from Granddad's and then ride the bus all the way down, it was a straight line. I miss just reading on the beach. I have never seen the Honey house before, how fun!

I remember that beach. I don't remember a whole lot except that I felt like the sand went on forever!
Thanks for sharing the pictures with us. I remember your house, going to the beach all of us cousins when we would come for the summer. What fun times! I wish our children and grandchildren could have the summers we enjoy being together.
