Ryan & Brent at the top of a bridge

It was so lovely. Flowers in bloom, the temperature was in the 70's, and there were very few people there

Harrison, Brent, James & Madelyn at the front of our river craft

After the safari we drove on into San Antonio and visited the Alamo (I am glad Leslie & Lonna got pictures of that) and then went on to the river walk. We took a cruise and saw some lovely architecture and gorgeous plantings. This was all on Monday, May 12. We then flew out the next morning for home so this will be my last posting of our Texas trip. But I have loved reliving such fun moments from our visit.

Loved the pictures of the river walk; it is such a lovely place to visit. I'm glad it wasn't so hot for you. I've enjoyed all your pictures but I'm glad you're home!
Love,
Mom
Ahhh the river walk. I don't know who said it while we were there, but I though it was funny when I heard "this is it?".
I think that we really did choose the perfect day to be there. Can you imagine what it would have been like if it were the same kind of day as Saturday!! Yikes!
We so enjoyed having you be here with us, I have already started my list of places that we will go when you return to us.
That is beautiful!! I wish I had been there, it looks like you guys had so much fun. Thanks for sharing.

I loved the river walk when we went! I bet it was really nice to go in cooler weather though. If I remember right, we all were suffering from heat exhaustion! It was still a really neat place though.
