Musical Evening at Mark's

Daniel Honey playing the bagpipes

Saturday, Leon Honey's 76th birthday we met at Mark Honey's house to enjoy each other's company and to listen to some great music. I have video clips of most of them. A love of music is one of the major gifts our parents gave us (more of their major gifts to us are, to love each other and love the Lord)

Alex playing the piano

Grandma Honey playing the piano

David Honey playing the violin

Yi-Chin Honey playing the gourd flute (my ear doesn't understand the Chinese name)

How fun! I wish i could have heard it. Where in the world did Daniel learn the bagpipes? Did he go to scotland for his mission?

How come we don't get a video of the bagpipes?! It looks like it was a lot of fun, I am sorry I missed it!

What a variety of different talents. I am glad that you were able to capture some of it for the rest of us to hear.

It looks like everyone had a great time. That is the way to have a birthday. Oh and I hope that you got some cake.

Well it looks like my kids will have a lot of instruments to choose from, given they get a little bit of the Honey musical talent! I may encourage the gourd flute, there has always got to be a place to play that. I love how much variety in instruments there is. I wish I could have been there to see this in person. I am glad you caught some of it for us!
