I was tagged by Lauren and here are 7 facts about me.

1.I love people. I am interested in them and find all sorts of people very interesting. I love to visit and get to know people better. I find their lives, even their every day lives interesting.

2. I love to read. I would rather read than watch TV, go to a movie or eat. (though eating and reading are pretty good too) Because I have been sick so much in my life I have learned to read fast. I can finish a paper back book in 3 hours and a hard back book, usualy size in 4. I read the big Harry Potter book in 8 hours.

3. I loved being pregnant and raising children. It was one of the most fulfilling times of my life. It is one of the main reasons I want to go to the Celetial Kingdom, so I can have more children. My children as adults is very fulfilling too. They turned out so well and married such quality people.

4. I am with Lauren in this one. I too love music. Classical, hymns, Rob's music, country music, Susa Marches, salsa music, my Mom singing etc. Some music touches my heart and brings me to tears. Handel's Messiah does that to me also great violin and piano music. I feel blessed to have grown up with so much music in my life. My Mom always had the radio on and I mean always and I was in my Dad's music classes, usually more than one all through high school. It is a great legacy from my parents.

5. I love animals and plants. It is a little weird, but I do. But I don't like to see them in captivity (Zoo). A dream of mine is to visit Africa and go on a photo shooting safari. I would also love to see the great gardens in Europe.

6. I have played several musical instruments during my life time. I have played the guitar (can't any more) clarinet, alto saxophone, baritone saxophone, string bass, piano (can't any more either). One of my favorite memories is my dad and me playing for a Southern California Bar Association banquet. It was our High School jazz band and Dad and I both played saxophone. It was really fun to play with him. It was also the first time I had chicken Cordon Blu.

7. Brent & I lived on the Navajo Reservation for 8 years while our children were all born. 4 of our children were born 2 1/2 hours away and it was always scary to drive that far in labor. We changed houses every year and had many, many great experiences. The isolation was very difficult for me. I wouldn't trade those years for anything, I learned so many important, vital lessons (like things are not important and I am responsible for my own depression), but there is not enough money in this world to make me go back and live there again.

I already knew this, but we have so, so much in common. The reading, the animals, the music, though you take the cake for playing the saxaphone. I think it would be an interesting instrument to start my kids on, since I have aspirations of them being in the band, marching band in particular. Maybe you can help them be a part of that exclusive group, though Ryan has memories of it being very hot marching in the parades. Maybe we'll just start a family band.
