view from the top of the hill that El Paso Gas Plant stands on. It has since been bought out by another company. All the housing we stayed in up there has been moved out. The strip of green is around the river and is where the elementary school and church are located.

oh the horror!! It's just as I remember it, I would rather not remember it but there it is. Was the relief, that you were just driving through and not staying, overwhelming? Nowhere is as bad as that...ok enough memory land, now I have to read something and try and take that nasty view out of my head.
