The cabinets and fronts and drawers and fronts are all finished! I love them! This is a cabinet Brent & Chris made just for me. A #10 can holder. It pulls out on drawer glides and the top shelf moves independently from the bottom one.

I went with large drawers instead of cupboards for my pots and pans. I hope you can see the craftsmanship of the drawers. They are dove tailed. All made from maple by Chris and Brent.

The last cabinet to be finished. Brent made it long enough for my trash bags to fit in the back. Very easy access.

Over under the dish cupboard I have two large drawers. I hope you can see how deep it is

They made it tall enough for a gallon pitcher. They are so much more convenient than cabinets.

I can't say enough how much I love my new kitchen cabinets! They exceed my expectations. Now all that is left is the crown moldings, some floor moldings and the new floor. We are making great progress. I christened my new kitchen by making apricot/pineapple jam yesterday and today. With Brent's help I put up 30 pint jars. The apricots courtesy of Doug & Julie's tree.

That looks so great! I love the pull out draws, such easy access! And that is such a great idea to make room for the trash bags with the trash! Really really nice.
It's Beautiful!!!! I love your drawers for your trash and 10 cans (sigh of envy) It's fantastic but I have to ask, who would want 30 pints of nasty jam? :)

I love the idea of having drawers instead of digging around in bottom cupboards. Come to think of it why aren't all cabinets made this way? So much less bending over, not to mention less stacking. Nicely designed, Barlows!! Love the color too.
Oh and the jam sounds yummy!
They look nice. "A thing of beauty is a treasure forever"
ps. post a picture when they get foody.
