Linda's basement kitchen extension

Linda wants to rent out her basement apartment, but it needed a sink and a stove to make the kitchen usable. Brent & I came down Monday morning to do these additions. We left Tuesday evening. Here is the preliminary work, taking up the carpet and removing grills. Ben was there to help. He put the cabinets together while Brent did wiring.

They had to build wall for the stove and cabinet to be against.
Here they are putting the sink into the cabnet
Here is Linda's happy face when she got home Tuesday evening and saw everything done but the finish work.
The stove is in, Ben wired this part, his first wiring job, the counter top and cabinets and sink is all done. This is a picture of the golden team who got so much done in a short period of time.

Wow that is such a lot of work to get done! Way to go. I think Dad is busier in the summer than when he is working in the school year! And of course, he always had you to help(and to keep him hydrated)

I'm impressed! You guys truely are the golden team. That sure helped Linda out, with you and dad is it any wonder I don't understand when people hire other guys to do that kind of thing. On the other hand, I've run into people that are amazed that we don't hire guys for that kind of thing. Go figure.
