I have been working on this quilt for 5 years now! It is finally finished. It is for my bedroom. Brent designed the 'space' patterns for the quilting. The space ship, is of course named the Enterprise. I really enjoyed piecing, quilting and binding this quilt, but 5 years is still to long for one project!

Yeah!!! It's beautiful and how exciting to know when you look and sleep under it that you did it all by yourself. Way to go mom! I love it.

I remember when you first started this quilt! How wonderful to be finished. If it were me I'd sit on the bed and admire it several hours a day! Which is convenient when you love to sleep so much. :)
It looks amazing and my favorite part is that the design is so unique! You and Brent really have an artistic eye about you. I love the way all your projects have turned out.

Alright, now that I look at it, I too remember when you first got the fabric and you showed me the pinwheel pattern that you were doing. Was that really five years ago? No way. I think that it looks great. How did the binding go for the other quilt that you were working on? I hope that you finished in time for your "vacation".
