When Dad was in Germany on his mission, Linda and Bob were stationed there in Wiesbaden with the military. Dad received permission to spend Christmas with them. He wanted to give them a Christmas present. As he and other missionaries were walking through town, near their apartment they were digging up the street and Dad took these two cobblestones home and made book ends out of them. As Linda was moving to Florida she returned them to Dad a few weeks ago. They are really heavy! Dad glued some toweling on them to protect the books. I think they are really cool and we are happy to have them.

Those are fun! But you don't have any books between them...
