Well Des Moines, Iowa was a huge surprise. It is lovely and so much fun. Above we were at a museum and this is Ellie's face and hands.

Outside the mall. There were so many fountains and water features in Des Moines.
Ellie the butterfly. We had a such a wonderful visit with Ryan, Becky & Ellie. Ryan took us on a tour of his medical school. They have underground tunnels linking the school buildings. What a great idea. Especially during the winter.

That looks like so much fun! Ellie must have been loving her time with you guys, I know mine always do.
I guess it is time for everyone to move somewhere new so that you can see more of the museums for kids.
Ellie is getting so big I can't believe that she is almost 2 already!!
The water fountains look really nice, and who doesn't love the apartment complex playground, Gwen was pretty much raised on one for 3 years. Thanks for theses pictures since I don't think that I will be finding myself in Des Moines anytime soon.
