They are digging up our road to put in a new culinary water line. Every morning they begin at 7:00am by pounding the dirt over and over again to loosen it. It shakes the entire house! This is the view yesterday morning.

I got a new dress and I love it.
My cousin Debbie and her husband Ted are here. Brent is teaching him how to do the Rubik's cube. Ted who is a chiropractor then worked on Brent's neck and shoulders. A fair trade!
The view from the porch this morning, Thursday. As the street is blocked off at each end, I am curious to see if our drive way will be blocked and for how long.

Rubik's cube lessons for neck/back work, I think that is brilliant! I can't do the Rubik's cube but maybe he wants to know how I clean my floors? Just kidding.
So does this mean that you are basically trapped in your home all the time because you can't get out of your driveway? My kids would be LOVING the big trucks digging up the street, loud and annoying sounds and all.
I like your new dress too, what a fun new purchase. Someday I too will have new clothes, hopefully I will be able to keep from spilling in the same spot right on the belly by that time.
I hope you are able to get out of the driveway so that you don't miss your flight on Monday. I know a lot of Texans that would write mean letters to your construction workers if you missed your trip out here. Can't wait to see you.
